FineLine Prototyping: Rob Connelly


Rob Connelly President	Rob has been with the stereolithography industry from the very beginning, having worked with one of the first six beta SLA machines built by 3D Systems, Inc. in 1989. His engineering, product development, and rapid prototyping experience were honed from a broad exposure to industry—from aerospace at Pratt & Whitney, consumer electronics at Motorola, and medical devices at Becton Dickinson & Co.
	In founding FineLine, Rob brought his knowledge of quality and manufacturing excellence to bear on the problem of making thousands of pieces per month–each one of them for the first time–accurately, on time, and in a cost-effective manner. To that end he is a stickler for process, procedure, and self-discipline. Fortunately, the rest of his team is too!
