This is FineLine's signature offering. The Viper running in high-resolution is the dominant technology for accurate, richly-detailed small parts. It is the perfect choice for medical device prototyping, electrical connectors, small consumer electronics, or anything that requires accurate parts. In high-resolution mode, the laser is focused down to 0.003" diameter, and the layer thickness is 0.002". While the resolution in the Z-direction for stereolithography is limited as compared to, say, the Objet Eden or the InVision HR (compare their horizontal knife edges), its vector processing allows it to shine in the X and Y directions.
