Another FineLine offering, the Viper NR service is also run on the Viper stereolithography machine, but at normal resolution with a laser focus of 0.010" and a layer thickness of 0.004". This mode allows for the production of larger parts at lower cost, since the machine runs much faster. It is still a very high-quality build because of the precision of the Viper setup, but it is not as crisp as the Viper in HR. Check out the radii on the text and the vertical knife edge for evidence of the thicker laser beam.
